CWDC members headed over to Edithburgh for the 2025 January Long Weekend – and what a great weekend it was!

Many dives were conducted under Edithburgh Jetty, with varying levels of visibility on each dive. The jetty is just teeming with life, and a resident seal who seemed to very much enjoy lazing about on the surface. It was very encouraging to see so many cowrie shells – I counted at least 8.

A very lovely night dive was enjoyed by two brave souls – the others missed out big time!!

David was proudly photographed next to the signage at Edithburgh jetty, which has a number of his photographs on.

There were three boat dives at Troubridge Drop Off, which is even more spectacular than I remember – gorgonia coral everywhere, bright oranges, yellows and reds, with lots of fish life and a few (safe) crayfish.

We were joined at Sunday night’s BBQ by some locals, Robbo, Chris, Simmo & Christine and sung our hearts out to Robbo’s guitar melodies. We might not make it on Australian Idol, but who cares – we enjoyed it!
